Coral Care: Favia are a great coral for novice reefers or even the seasoned reefers looking for a classic, easily maintainable coral to complete their collection. These are beautiful LPS coral that look perfect near the sand bed and will adjust to a broad range of lighting if acclimated slowly.

Feeding: Symbiotic algae called Zooxanthellae supplies the majority of their nutritional requirements through photosynthesis. However, they do benefit from direct feedings of brine shrimp and mysis shrimp.
Location(s): Spicy Lemon Favia are from the Indo Pacific region including Fiji, Tonga, Solomon Islands, and the Great Barrier Reef.
